Plastic is a man-made material that is used everywhere nowadays. Although its use has brought real benefits in many areas, it is causing major environmental problems: It is fueling the climate crisis and increasingly endangering our lives on earth. The course therefore takes an in-depth look at the topic of plastics. In addition to the production and use of plastics, its impact on health will be examined. Finally, we will give you tips on how to avoid plastics and reduce plastic waste in your professional environment and at home.
The course „The plastic plague“ is made up of three modules. Modules 1 and 2 explain everything about plastic: its history, production and its impact on our health and the environment. Modules 1 and 2 are free of charge for you. Module 3 shows you concrete solutions on how we should deal with plastic waste and how it can be avoided as much as possible in households and doctors‘ surgeries.
